The Annual Sweet Tater Festival will be held in Crane Hill on Sept. 5th and 6th.  There is an admission charge.  Arts, crafts, food, raffle prizes and live entertainment.  The Cullman Co. Dekalb Co. Democrats will meet in the parking lot of the Cabbage Bowl in Ider to line up for the parade and to put signs on the trailer.  The parade will begin at 9:30. Candidates are welcome to ride on the trailer and help throw corn chips to the crowd.  There will be a Dekalb Co. The Central Alabama Labor Council in conjunction with the United Mine Workers will be having the Annual Labor Day Celebration at Tannehill State Park. The Downtown Democratic Club will meet on September 10th at 12:00pm at the Harbert Center.  The meeting will be meeting on the Second Friday in September to avoid Labor Day Weekend.  Lunch will be server at 12:00 ($15.00). Please arrive a little early so the program can start on time.  The speaker will be Lt. Governor Jim Folsom.

Fair will run from September 23 - October 3, 2010.  The Cullman County Democratic Executive Committee will have 2 booths for local and statewide candidates.  Please get your signs and materials to the Cullman Co. Democratic Headquarters prior to the opening of the fair.  Senior Day at the fair will be Wednesday, September 29th from 10:30 - 2:30. (Great time to shake hands with voters.
