Democratic Party qualifying for the special election in Senate District 22 is now closed.A vacancy in Senate District 22 was created when Senator W. H. "Pat" Lindsey passed away. The Democratic Party Nominee for the Senate District 22 is Representative Mark Keahey (D - 65 - Choctaw, Washington, Clarke).
Special Election Schedule:
GOP ONLY Primary - Tuesday, April 14, 2009.
GOP ONLY Runoff or General - Tuesday, June 2, 2009.
If Runoff occurs, General - Tuesday, July 21, 2009
