Candidate Qualifying to Begin
The State Democratic Executive Committee will meet on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 11:00am in Montgomery at the Madison Hotel.
On the agenda will be the final elections for Delegates to the DNC Convention and the opening of qualifying for public offices up for election this November.
The qualifying deadline for persons wishing to run for pledged PLEO or At-large delegate was WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 27, at 5PM. The following persons have qualified:
Candidates who wish to qualify for PUBLIC OFFICE on the opening day can do so by attending this meeting to receive a qualifying packet from the state party staff. After qualifying is opened, the Democratic Party Qualification Form, and other qualifying info, will be posted here.
