Convention Hotel Selected
It's official! Alabama's delegation to the 2008 Democratic National Convention will be staying at the Doubletree Hotel in Denver along with the delegations from Georgia, South Dakota, and North Dakota. ADP Chairman Joe Turnham called the Doubletree a beautiful and accommodating hotel, and said he is excited about the prospect of Alabama's delegates spending time with fellow southerners and our friends from the Dakotas.
The Doubletree is located at 3203 Quebec Street in Denver, Colorado. We encourage all those interested in attending the convention next year to qualify with the Alabama Democratic Party as a candidate for delegate in their congressional district. Candidates must pledge their support to a particular candidate or check "uncommitted" at the time they qualify.
